SEJ, POYNTER PRODUCE "COVERING WATER QUALITY" ONLINE COURSE
Source Water Assessments, Source Water Protection Programs, and other crucial resources and tips for reporting on drinking water quality are discussed in the just-released SEJ/Poynter News University online course: "Covering Water Quality: What You Need to Know" (free registration required).News University is the Poynter Institute's innovative e-learning center that helps journalists through self-directed training. The "Covering Water Quality" course was produced in a partnership between the Society of Environmental Journalists (SEJ) and NewsU. The course helps journalists build the skills to develop compelling stories, teaches them how to look for information on sites such as the Environmental Protection Agency, and tests their knowledge of water quality issues in an engaging and fun way. |
